We know you are all busy helping your neighbors, members and getting your church property back in order. We pray all is going well and we appreciate all you are doing to be the hands and feet of Christ to those in our Central North District.
The conference has a recovery team in place to assist those in need. Please, report any major damage you need assistance with to Jack Shelton and on the conference website. We will also register work teams to go into the devastated areas as they open up for entrance.
Conference website: www.txcumc.org.
Please inform your congregation of this opportunity to serve. Lastly, if any of you have urgent needs (tarping of roofs, carpet removal, tree cutting and the like) not being met by volunteers or hired crews, let me know and the district can schedule a team to come assist you.
